The serious traffic that would result from the intersection where this proposal would center, includes the high school and surrounding homes that would create backups for miles on one of the busiest intersections in the entire area. On top of that it would overtax the waste treatment services available as well as the water systems. The entrances and exits from these apartments would center right at the center of one of the busiest roads, Pulaski rd and Elwood rd and block traffic for people coming and going to work and shopping. It is a very bad proposal and should be defeated. That land should be set aside as unusable for building purposes. Pretty soon we will have no vacant land to help with water absorption or plant growth for the water table.
